This detached 3 bedroom property in Ipswich was an infill urban plot, which previously stood in a garden with an asbestos garage. The house was built under stringent code 4 compliance regulations, and was on behalf of one of our close working clients.
We converted and refurbished this totally derelict single cottage, back to its original condition of 2 cottages, fully restoring all of the superb character features. A kitchen and bedroom extension was also built to the rear, paying close attention to detail and in keeping with the original design.
Originally a commercial office building, which we fully refurbed and converted into 2 contemporary open plan 2-bedroom semi detached dwellings. A beautiful location and stunning finish.
Full demolition of existing building on Foxall Road and maximising of land. We built 3 flats and 1 masonette, where the footprint of the building is the boundary of the site, so our working area was extremely restricted. This meant logistical compliactions to work around and the project also included complex intricate steel work.
This plot was originally a blacksmith's outbuilding, which was converted into a functional 3 bedroom, 2 storey dwelling.
The roof to the building had major structural works; including the intsallation of 2 new large dormers and a complete new timber first floor installation.
The structural shell of the property was heavily altered to accomodate new windows and doors, finished with a 2 coat hand render application.
A lost and forgotten outbuilding has been brought back to it's former glory with it's beautiful original character features.
