1991 - 2013  During these years Neil gathered the experience, knowledge and qualifications required to start and manage a chartered building company. After training as a bricklayer, Neil progressed through various levels of management and also worked for the NHBC as a building inspector.

Some of Neil's career highlights are;

  • 2000 - 2001 Building Manager for Beazer Homes introducing new methods of construction and streamlined site operations on fast track timber frame developments.
  • 2002 Achieved full membership of CIOB, (MCIOB).
  • 2006 - 2011 Senior Project Manager for a circa £20 million re-development of an old shipyard in Wivenhoe, Essex.  During this time, Neil achieved 3 NHBC awards: Silver award for Considerate Constructor and Site Manager of the year, twice!
  • 2011 - 2013 Consortium Lead for the land parcel release on the re-development of the Colchester Garrison, which involved liaising with other developers and project stakeholders on a logistically challenging site within a live Ministry of Defence facility.

2013 -2014 The vision of Project Eleven was being formed and by 2014, Project Eleven's DNA was established and began trading. The name came from the 2 directors birthdays added together.

In our early days Project Eleven built and refurbished private homes. These included a small block of flats on a very restricted site in Ipswich, a barn conversion and full-structural and internal refurbishment of two cottages in the Suffolk countryside, amongst others.

2016 – Launched our Customer Care service for the multi-national housing developers.

2017 – Project Eleven purchased our new offices on Hadleigh Road Industrial Estate, Ipswich and started work on the strip-out and re-fit so the Group could move from “the Bunker” to our new home.
Project Eleven Group undergoes a complete re-branding, modernising our logo and corporate image to align with the group’s forward-thinking approach.
The business has really flourished since the development of our fully refurbished office, which allows us to operate from a working environment that reflects a business with Chartered status.

2018 – The team grew with the addition of a Business Development Manager to drive Sales and Marketing and a Digital Marketing associate to increase our brand awareness and manage our social media.

2019 HOMECCAPP- Our 24/7 Customer Care App was born out of our experience from running our Customer Care department.

Our evolving technology has been developed in line with the government’s reports, of ‘Better Quality’ and the New Homes Ombudsman. Project Eleven remains supportive in the ambitions and objectives, and is working alongside key stakeholders to design and deliver progressive solutions.

We now provide technical consultancy, project management and customer care services for new build developers, including Hopkins Homes, and private individuals with property portfolios, who require works to be carried out and fully managed and are excited for the future plans of the business!

2020 Despite Covid-19 and the economic worldwide instability that came with 2020, Project Eleven Customer Care flourished. We are proud to say that we are now the go-to customer care professionals for all national housing developers in East Anglia.

With the increased workload in the field, the Project Eleven family grew by 3 new additions to the team, Ian our Assistant Field Manager and 2 multi-skilled tradesmen, Lee and Latham.

As lockdown drove the country to distraction with mass clear-outs and home improvements, Project Eleven took on a large renovation and loved getting back to our roots. This was a Sunrise Cottage, Plumstead, a stunning conversion from a blacksmiths outbuilding into a 3 bedroom dwelling.

2021 The refurbishment of the Stour Sailing Club in Manningtree Essex, in between the various covid lockdowns! Along with the ground floor refurbishment of a split level domestic detached property where we converted the dining room into a fully integrated new kitchen area. We then converted the old kitchen into a new dining room and utility extension. Alongside delivering aftercare services for our home builder PLC clients.

2022 Our portfolio of PLC home builders increased. We expanded our geographical presence into the Cambridgeshire area, we were also chosen to deliver aftercare home services on behalf of one of the major national home builders in which we provided daily pre-diarised appointments.

Towards the end of 2022 we invested internally to come on line with the implementation of the New Homes Quality Board (NHQB) which in turn has totally transformed the delivery of New homes aftercare service.

2023 We continued to deliver our aftercare services to the home builders alongside, obtaining new work from other industries including Wind farms and a national eye clinic.

2024 We are currently investing into the business, upgrading our delivery systems and the infrastructure behind the scenes to ensure we stay ahead of the competition in an ever changing market place fighting the current economic pressures that we all feel.

We are proud to say, July of 2024 we will be 10 years old! This is down to the ongoing support of our client base, the team and the supply chain within Project Eleven.
